You must have a microphone to use this feature. If you do not, be sure to turn off the phone setting in the Customize options.
Once you have set up your Address Book, you can talk to a friend using the phone or chat options.

Follow these steps to talk to a friend using the phone feature:
Determine whether your friend is online. The Address Book displays the status of each friend in your address book by changing the color of their name: black indicates they are online, blue (and indented) indicates they are not online, and red indicates you are connected to them.
Highlight your friend's name in the address book and click 
.
A status message appears while the system checks to see if your friend is online. When your friend answers the phone, a window appears. The title of the window displays your friend's e-mail address.
Speak into your microphone to talk to your friend. It's that easy!
To hangup, click the Hangup button.
If you were trying on outfits, you are prompted to redisplay the clothes on the mannequin.
Click Yes to save and display the previous outfits; or click No to remove all outfits.
